Music as a Stress Reliever: GoAvo Announces New Album Human

GoAvo Announces New Album Human

In times of uncertainty, music often becomes more than entertainment — it becomes refuge. For many artists, the studio is not just a workplace but a sanctuary: a place to process the noise of the world. GoAvo says that is exactly what creating music means to him. Working on a new album titled Human, the artist describes the studio as a personal escape — and the music itself as a reminder of what humanity is capable of when creativity replaces conflict.

Music is a stress reliever for me. When I’m in the studio, I create a world and live inside it.” — GoAvo

GoAvo is back in the studio — and already finishing a second album in a single year. Titled Human, the new project marks a milestone in the artist’s career and arrives as both a creative statement and a personal one.
The album explores emotion, creativity, and the power of music as refuge in turbulent times. At its sonic core: acoustic flamenco guitar woven into electronic soundscapes, a pairing that mirrors the album’s central tension between the ancient and the modern, the intimate and the expansive.
In a conversation from the studio, GoAvo opened up about what’s driving the work.

Q: Two albums in one year — what’s behind that creative momentum?
GoAvo: Being in the studio gives me an escape from the outside world. Sometimes keeping up with the news becomes too much. Creating music helps me stay positive. It keeps me grounded.

Q: The album is called Human. What does that name mean to you?
GoAvo: I love us as humans. We create mind-blowing, amazing things — just look at what we achieve when we come together to build, invent, create. It’s incredible.
This album is for the love of humanity. Please stop acting like animals. Enough wars.

Q: What does the act of making music actually feel like for you?
GoAvo: When I make music, I create a world — a mood, a story. I live inside that world for a few hours while I’m working. When I step out of the studio, I feel complete. No matter what comes my way, music builds me up so I can enjoy the rest of my day.

As GoAvo continues shaping Human in the studio, the message behind the project is already clear. Music remains one of humanity’s most powerful ways to reflect, create, and reconnect with what makes us human.

No matter what comes my way, music builds me up so I can enjoy the rest of my day.” — GoAvo
