Making the Right Choice for Your Business

The decision between using a hosting service provider and investing in your own server hinges on your business’s specific needs, budget, and technical expertise. Hosting service providers offer convenience, scalability, and affordability, making them an excellent choice for many small businesses. Conversely, owning a server provides unparalleled control and customization but comes with higher initial and ongoing expenses.

By carefully weighing the benefits and costs of each option, you can make an informed decision that aligns with your business goals and sets you on the path to digital success.

As a web developer, I’m surprised at the level of customer support at some of these hosting companies nowadays.
I can only imagine how it must feels to be a non pro customer calling or online chatting with support.

Google’s reCaptcha is a spyware, we avoided installing it for years, but Google forced our hand through our hosting company. They interrupted our email sending, we couldn’t send emails until we installed reCaptcha.

Common practice seems to be spamming WordPress website’s user-registration-form, to force you to use Captcha, hoping to stop spam on your website, makes me question, who benefits from this?

Great question James, according to Google-AI: “Google charges for reCAPTCHA usage exceeding a certain threshold, with different tiers…Standard costs $8 for up to 100,000 assessments, and Enterprise is $1 per 1,000 assessments beyond 100,000.”
