Well, My brother loves playing vinyl records, I don’t get it 🙂 Spotify is the best for me, it’s right there when I need it.

The little bell on Spotify lets me know when my favorite artists release new music, that’s a great feature.

I’m looking forward to AI artists, soon musicians will not be able to compete with label owned free AI artists producing music 24/7.

As a recording artist, it’s much harder for me now to make money, just streaming is not enough.

As an independent artist I was making more from CD and MP3 download sales. Since the popularity of steaming platforms I’ve been making significantly less, after the middle man’s cut (the distributor).

Almost every Sunday afternoon my oldest sister took me with her to our local small music store, we would look through the CDs and find something new, and sometimes the store would be playing something that we would end up buying. I miss that experience very much so.

I inherited my father’s vinyl collection, he used to adore his records, I remember every Sunday he use to play his vinyls, sometimes I would walk in and see my mother and father dancing to oldies, he had a large collection of Motown records, I’m tearing up as I’m writing this comment, Thank you so much for this great post, it brought back precious memories.
