Abet News is investigating reports of Uber drivers losing access to their accounts over alleged account sharing—even when they say they never shared their accounts.
We want to hear directly from drivers.
• Were you accused of account sharing you say never happened?
• Did Uber deactivate your account? For how long?
• Did you appeal? Was your account reinstated?
• Did you receive a clear explanation or evidence supporting the accusation?
• Did the deactivation occur after you complained about pay, declined trips, or raised concerns about unfair treatment?
We are also interested in drivers who were flagged but never deactivated, and those whose appeals were successful.
Your experience matters. Your evidence matters. Your voice deserves to be heard.
📩 Contact Abet News privately to share your story. Please include your city and state, when the incident occurred, and whether you have documentation. (hello@abetnews.com)
We will review submissions carefully and seek Uber’s response before drawing conclusions.
You may request that your identity be withheld from publication. Please do not post personal account information, identification documents, or other sensitive details publicly.
Help us investigate. Share this post with fellow Uber drivers.
